CSA - Community Supported Agriculture - What a wonderful variety in our 7th delivery this week, and just in time for the 4th of July! We are definitely going to use as much of the produce from this week as we can on the 4th. What a fun time to show family and friends the fruits of our farmers' labors!
This week's delivery contained our first tomato of the season - woo hoo!!! Bring it on. Farm fresh tomatoes are nothing like a store bought tomato - heavenly! We received more black raspberries, green beans, zucchini, cucumbers, a full head of lettuce, red lettuce, and eggs. Lovely salads are coming this way. We will be making a Farm Fresh Wilted Greens salad for the 4th (see post from last year).
The black raspberries will be an early birthday present for my mom. She loves black raspberries, but they are so hard to find in the stores.
