Season 2 - delivery 1

Year 2 of our CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) began Thursday. Our first delivery of the year did not disappoint! Chives, lettuce, spinach, super ripe strawberries, radishes, and eggs. Of course we made a strawberry-spinach salad right away! Yum.

It was so nice to hear from our farmers. We did see them at the Shawnee Civic Center for the KC Food Circle Expo on March 30th. It is so meaningful to have that personal connection to the growers - to know the people, the land, and the caring that they put into growing quality organic produce.
