Community Supported Agriculture - The Berry Patch opened this week! Tuesday May 22nd was the first day for picking! This local berry patch is a family owned farm. Our family has been picking berries there for years.  Check out their website: http://theberrypatchonline.com/
With a warm Spring and mild winter the berries are ready much earlier. We pick what we can and freeze the berries in bags. If we visit a few times in the season, we usually have berries throughout the year.
The first day was not crowded at all, and the berries were huge!
